Verizon Minutes Used Firefox Extension Version 0.95

The new version displays the text message usage correctly, and allows you to choose different logos (wide, small, none) used in the status bar, thanks to help from Mike.

You can download the new version here .

How exactly does projection work? It is 2/27 with 634 used and 704 projected. Surely this can be improved.

The minutes function works perfectly. Thanks a bunch!

The projection for this month is a fantastic feature that I use regularly. Recently however, it seems to be a bit off. for instance. currently I am at 602 minutes and the projection is for 564. I notice it near the last week of the biling cycle. Not sure exactly how this is calculated. does it take into account previous usage along with billing cycle day left? Thanks again for all your hard work on this truly superb tool.

the projection calculation uses your last billing date as the starting date for the next period. therefore if your last billing date is more than 1 month old, the projected value will be lower than your actual usage. it seems that verizon site doesn't update this value (last billing date) in time in some cases.

I'm on an older version of the plugin, and can't install this one - I keep getting invalid hash code and it won't install. This happens whether I install it from the download link or copy the file locally and try that one. Any ideas?

Works great, looks great. Though as a thought why don't you start a Post of the improvements people would like to see, as well as if anyone would like to help improve the software.

Great piece though I use it all the time.

As of right now, I keep getting a failed to login message. Upon manually logging into VW, I get: "The System is currently unable to display your current balance. Please check back later." Could the app make use of such a message within the VW website, and therefore show the last used amount, and not bother me with repeated login failed messages? Just a request... Thanks.

I love this extension. I use it religiously. It's more than once saved me a 100 + bill from overages.

Verizon is reporting errors on login again though.

Initially, I was getting the bad user/pass error msg.

I then logged into VZW's site and the extension now shows the correct information.

Looks like VZW (idiots) broke the extension somewhat.

THANK YOU WILLIAM FOR A GREAT TOOL!

YOU ROCK!

First, I want to say thanks for the great work on this extension. Ever since I went 600 minutes over, this extension has been absolutely priceless.

Second, I apologize on behalf of the people who leave comments like "It's broke - Fix it." You do this for free, and people should recognize that.

Finally, I agree with a request I saw about asking for help on this. I'm not whiz programmer, but I know that there are people out there much more skilled than I who would love to help keep this great extension going.

Thanks again.
